UCI ADVANCE Dependent Care Travel Awards Program
These awards are designed to subsidize childcare costs associated with travel to a professional conference or a research meeting, or conducting research activity that requires travel.

UCI ADVANCE Faculty Success Program Grant
The Faculty Success Program provides participants with a supportive community committed to accelerating productivity and advancing career goals. ADVANCE will provide a limited number of small career development grants to supplement the cost of tuition. The call will open on Thursday, June 1, 2017.

DECADE Faculty mentors and DECADE students can apply for a one-year grant, up to $30,000, to support activities that improve recruitment, climate, academic progress and career success for a diverse student population in Ph.D or M.F.A programs.

Inclusive Excellence Spirit Awards
Inclusive excellence is integral to UC Irvine's ascendancy among globally preeminent universities. This commitment animates our research, teaching and service mission as a land-grant public university. The purpose of the Inclusive Excellence Spirit Award is to promote advancement of diversity, equity and inclusion at UC Irvine. Award recipients may use funds for research costs and/or release time. Through support of faculty activity in this vital area, this program will spur the growth of campus capacity for inclusive excellence among faculty, students, staff, as well as the communities served by UCI locally, nationally, and globally.

 UCI Chancellor's ADVANCE Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
Beginning in 2013, UC Irvine funds up to two Chancellor's ADVANCE Postdoctoral Fellowships each year. The Chancellor's ADVANCE Postdoctoral Fellow is selected from the pool of applicants who identified mentors at UC Irvine and submitted their applications to the University of California President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. The Chancellor's ADVANCE Postdoctoral Fellowship applications are reviewed by a committee of Faculty Equity Advisors.

The University of California President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program was established in 1984 to encourage outstanding women and minority Ph.D. recipients to pursue academic careers at the University of California. The current program offers postdoctoral research fellowships, faculty mentoring, and eligibility for a hiring incentive to outstanding scholars in all fields whose research, teaching, and service will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity at the University of California.
